Which brings me back to the subject of photojournalism. Coincidently I share the same frame shop with many of the students who are studying photography at the colleges and other art institutions in and around Phoenix, Arizona. The reason is because Decorative Edge is the leading professional framing company in this part of the country.

Photojournalism is an art-form in itself. But is composition no longer a taught aspect? Seriously...the crap I see coming out of these schools is laughable! Maybe it is the teachers, working on the theory: garbage in, garbage out.

Photojournalism is art, but only if it also has great composition. I grew up looking in wonder at National Geographic photojournalism, and aspired to be a photographer. Maybe these students should subscribe. It would save them a lot of money. to add text.
